Go, Boats, Go!

Go, Boats, Go! is a charming board book that highlights different types of boats moving through water. This book features a diverse cast of characters lying on decks, piloting their boats, relaxing in the sun, and rowing through the water. The colors are bright and appealing. The background rhyme is simple and repetitive, but easy to follow, and melodic on the ears. The pictures are simple, with enough detail for toddlers to explore, but not so busy and rich that they won't want to turn the pages and explore more boats. This book is about motion and energy, and will appeal to toddlers learning about different types of locomotion.

Perfect book to read and grow with my granddaughter.

Cute board book that I have to read 5 times. Our grandson loves this book. Book is about different boats and where they go that keeps our 18 month old interested. Book is not to long or short. Would buy again.

Really cute board buck with lots of different kinds of boats that are named and pictured.My two year-old liked it, but it’s not one of her most favorite books. She enjoys reading occasionally.

My son hasn’t been hooked by this book quite yet, but I know he will be. I enjoy reading it to him and the wide variety of boats featured.

Awesome book that keeps the spirit of water adventures!

We discovered Addie Boswell and this book at our local Portland library and fell in love. Our whole family loves this series. The books are whimsical, informative, and have good rhymes which makes it fun to read. Would highly recommend for kids around 1.5 years old who don’t have the attention span for longer childrens books.

This is a fun little book with a slightly muted set of colors. The board quality is good and the picture stories are enjoyable.Maybe we can't take the little ones on a lot of trips and vacations now, but this at least helps with journey's of the mind.

My kids loved this book. It's cute, fun, and perfect for bedtime.

This is a cute book and Little Mister has enjoyed it. The rhyming and vocabulary is fairly simple and the illustrations are fun to look at with lots of visual interest. Little Mister is 2.5 so he falls right into the recommended age range and although it is not a go-to book for him, he has requested subsequent readings. Giftable.

Cute board book. A little simplistic for a toddler but great for a younger child. Illustrations are adorable as well!

A great find. My little one always likes books that have a lot to see and talk about on all of the pages and Go Boats Go does not disappoint. Bright and imaginative illustrations go well with the fun and playful story.

This is a cute simple board book about boats. It's a simple rhyming structure, sort of Dr. Seuss-ian, but without the made up words. ("Old boats, new boats, one and two boats.) The illustrations are bright and colorful and illustrate the words on the page. It's good for little toddlers and older toddlers. I got it for my four year old who likes boats (and most modes of transport.) He loves the pictures and the rhyming structure makes it easy to remember the text so he can recite it and feel like he is reading, too. I highly recommend it for any kids--boys or girls--whether they like boats or not. It's just very cute.

Don't let the age range on this fool you, this is a toddlers board book. This is something you're going to want to read to your children when they are still sitting in your lap all the time. No 5 year old is going to find this interesting unless they really love boats.The book itself is cute and colorful. I liked the rhyming and some of the silly things.Overall it's a fairly standard well done rhyming board book. If you or your kids are really into boats this is going to be a big hit. Most other kids are only going to like it as long as they really like rhyming or you make looking at all the pages interesting.Good but not great. 4 stars

This is a fun book. It has a flowing rhyming rhythm which is great for reading aloud to young kids, and for early readers to read on their own.This book is all about boats, but definitely aimed towards younger kids-you’re not going to learn things about the specific boats, but it will likely spark interest.One page says “Holy floats!” (Like “Holy cow, Batman!”) and I’m not a fan of the word Holy being used that way, but I don’t think most people would mind.
