Working Boats: Salmon Troller

Love the book, can’t wait to send it to my grandkids. The illustrations are beautiful!! Bonus, little white dog looks like our dog, grandkids will love that!

My toddler nephew loves boats. This is a great board book with a simple message and very detailed pictures. We’ve read it dozens of times now!

A great little boat book. My 15 month old son loves looking and learning about the parts of the boat. It’s one of his current favorites! The illustrations are perfectly detailed for this age group (and adults too, my husband loved that he recognized the specific engine used!). We’ll be reading it for years to come.

Great cross-section book for kids that are old enough to be curious about things but still careless enough that they need board books. There's an awesome book for older kids that we bought for my nephew that you should also buy.

My 2 yo toddler is a big fan of all types of vehicles and loves this book! The cutout illustrations are really well done and beautiful, and the boat shape of the book is fun too. We have a lot of boat / truck / train board books and this one is our favorite.

With Tom's books you get two stories in one. The actual story you are reading as well as the story you can build within your own imagination while looking at his detailed drawings. This is a great book for the young and curious mind.

Excellent, peaceful read. Book feels very durable. Cool shape captured baby nephew's attention, cool pictures had his toddler brother asking every possible question. Parents loved it too.

Incredibly cool book. Loved by adults and kids alike. I gave a copy to a six year old and he reads it every night. The artwork is really incredible. Tom is amazingly talented and you can tell how much work and attention to detail went into this work. Colorful, whimsical, fun pictures make it great for kids and incredible detailed artwork make it greeat for everybody. I have no doubt that some young people will decide that they want to get more into boats because of this book and the other incredible books in this series.While I can't in good conscience recommend that anyone ever use Amazon to make purchases, I could not recommend more strongly that everyone should request and purchase this book and the other books in this series from their local book store!

This is a lovely picture book for little hands. The artwork is perfectly detailed for preschoolers, and a sweet little doggie lives on the boat. Just an overall fun and charming picture book for toddlers!

Absolutely the coolest. Some non-fiction kids books of this nature are very dry and stiff to read but this one is so enjoyable and well written. My daughter loves the boat shape because the smaller corner fits right in her baby hands!

Fantastic book! We bought this for our nephew. They live in a fishing town and he loved learning about the boats he sees at the docks all the time. Well put together, and the illustrations are gorgeous, so much detail! Be sure to check out his other books as well.

I love this book and so do my kiddos. They love the little details on each page, they point out where the crew sleeps, eats and drives the boat, where the fish go and where the engines go. It also has a great subtle message, if we work hard, and take care of what we have, we can reap the rewards, in this case, lots of tasty salmon.

My three year old loves all the details in this book and so do I! I highly recommend this author- we have the workboat book, coloring book and preordered the salvage book as well.
