This book is fantastic! This is my second Lauren Espy book and I love it just as much as the first. The book provides an overview of the tools, techniques, stitches in the beginning that will be used throughout the book. Additionally, each pattern has the materials needed listed as well as levels between beginner, intermediate, and expert. For those starting out with crochet and/or amigurumi there are plenty of pictures both for the patterns and for the techniques. As a new crocheter myself, I have found this book very user friendly and easy to navigate.Ultimately, I highly recommend this book. Prior to buying, I checked out a lot of different book options, but ultimately gravitated here due to the clear instructions/patterns, pictures with each step, and cute, fun designs! Buy this book, you won’t regret it!

I love this sweet new book by @amenagerieofstitches. Her instructions are thorough and beautiful, and anyone from beginner to advanced can enjoy it. The variety of animals in this one is so adorable also, I especially love the pets section. My kids absolutely adore this guinea pig and it’s played with more than anything I’ve crocheted. This is definitely a perfect addition to your crochet library!

Patterns are easy to follow and work up great! The difficulty rating is also a plus for knowing what you’re getting into. I want to try to make them all!

My kids were really excited about the pattern options in this book. I made the seal first, and he’s super cute! I did find it odd that tying knots and sewing pieces was not included in the stitches and techniques section. I am looking forward to making more of these!

Lauren Espy’s new book is absolutely adorable! Her patterns are so easy to follow and great for beginners. Would definitely recommend for crocheters of all skill levels. Can’t wait to make all of the adorable animals!

This is the best amigurumi book you’ll ever buy (other than volume 1)! I have never enjoyed making anything as much as the animals from this book. It’s a perfect gift for an intermediate crocheter and I will be buying every crochet book Lauren Epsy releases!!

I was to order this book, and receive it! I am excited to go through and crochet some adorable animals for friends and family. The step by step pictures Lauren puts in her books helps me follow along and understand what to do.I can’t wait to crochet my first animal out of this book this week (I’m going to do the elephant).Side note: most crochet books I’ve looked at were hard for me to understand but this book gives me the confidence I need to make cute stuffed toys.p.s. Lauren did a great job, as always! Her patterns are so easy to follow and she limits sewing as much as she can, so they’re very beginner friendly. I’m excited to make every single animal in this book, just need to find room to store all the critters I make.

We checked this book out from the local library many times. I decided to buy it for my wife because she loved it so much.

Loved the book. It's well put together and I have made almost every animal in the book. It's a great buy for people who like to crochet amigurami. My compliments to the author.

Bought volume 1 and 2. Both are great, I’m new to crochet and I think I could follow the patterns. It says if they are beginner, medium or difficult. Some have more instructions to help you including pictures of the process. Would definitely recommend

Awesome book. Complete walkthrough with pictures. This is not the first time I have made amigruami animals but the way these patterns are written I found them easy to follow and any tricky parts are explained. The end products are very cute and desirable. To do these patterns you will need to do some sewing (the parts onto bodies for example and basic embroidery), be able to work in continous rounds, use a magic ring and be confident working from US single crochet.

Really clear instructions and easy to follow for a beginner like me. I've made the zebra and pig so far (from the other edition). Both came out like the photos. I've done bought another book by the same author which is also very good. Nice range of animals to make and her Instagram inspired me to make animal families using different weight yarn. Great book.
