Good way to help understand these patients

A beautiful book to work through together with your loved one who is travelling the journey of dementia.

My grandmother has dementia and is very artistic. It's hard for her knowing she can't paint and draw like she used to. This book was so good at keeping her mind engaged and giving her fun things to do with her caregiver when we aren't around.

Amazing Amazing amazing!!!Wroth the money!

I work in a nursing home that specializes in dementia care. I ordered this to try with some of my residents. I tried it this week in memory care PC and it went very well. I love that it gives talking points to try while coloring to try to get the residents reminiscing. My favorite one is the Grateful one.

Great book and good for keeping the elderly entertained

Love this..i.work in geriatrics. I thought this was just a coloring book but its much more. Could be a great gift for someone. I use it at a nursing for therapy.

Great activity for Alzheimer’s patient.

Wonderful activity book. My mother enjoys it. Purchase the large Crayola Markers 10 pack as they are easier to handle and color. Pencils and pens are hard to use.

Enjoys the coloring

This is an interesting coloring and activity book for those with Alzheimer's and their caregivers. It falls somewhere between coloring and activity book filled with short writing prompts, conversation prompts, and various coloring activities. They are thoughtfully arranged, and each is given dedicated pages so there is not an information overload on the pages.The minds that are behind this project truly understand the complexities surrounding the care and interaction with those with Alzheimer's and have created a project book that can really draw people together.

Excellent resource for anyone who is walking through the horror of Alzheimers or other dementia with a family member. Beautifully designed!

Anything for ALZ fund raising

Gave it to a friend and she really liked it.

I bought two, one for my mother-in-law who has Alzheimer's and one for myself. We now color together and she loves the information it provides.

Even though this coloring book is for Alzheimer's I got it for my mom who had a different brain injury. My parents were on vacation. At the end of the vacation was a bike tour of wine country in California. On the first day my Mom was in a bad bike accident (not motorcycle). Despite wearing a bike helmet, the way she landed on her right side from head to toe caused her a brain injury and needing therapy to walk again. She was in a coma for 2 weeks. My parents were lucky to have vacation insurance. Once my mom was stable many weeks later they med vac'ed her to a hospital where we live Virginia. She has made great strides in improvement, but she won't ever be the same person again. She shares that with Alzheimers patients. I'm lucky that her health won't continue to deteriorate for some time. I think this book is great for anyone with brain injuries. My mom does a little bit on a regular basis. She says it has helped her. She also likes to color in other "adult" coming books. The difference from those is this one has memory games that incorporates art. I think it is a great idea.

I think it's wonderful

Large print, simple designs, partially colored designs are bright and vibrant. Color schemes are bold, but not primary, and stretch across the full spectrum. Short pieces of information about Alzhiemer's is scattered throughout. Most of these tidbits seem to be aimed at caregivers, which seems to raise some inconsistencies as to who this is aimed at. Perhaps the theory is that you might color together. The over simple designs would be perfect for those with advanced struggles, however for those interested in complex designs to provide small challenges, this would not be perfect. Do look inside book before you decide. Page quality Is good thickness, you could use markers if you wish.

I have friends with mothers suffering from this horrible disease and bought the books to bless them. I kept one for myself and it's quite interesting.

This is a wonderful book having colored pencils and my dementia mom and I are enjoying coloring together.. Bright colors that my mom likes. christine

Bought it for my mom and she LOVES it...she is 94...and looks forward to drawing in it daily!!! Her mind is good and it's perfect for her...totally adds to her life. Don't think it has to be only for Alzheimer's or dementia...at all...can just be for keeping one active and thinking and creating....i highly recommend it and she loves spending time together coloring!!!
