This is such a lovely memory book. I bought two. One for each of my kids and they’re both beautiful and high quality. I love that my kids write their names in it each year so we can see how their handwriting changes. Highly recommend! The designs on the pages are very beautiful.

This is such a great book for the school years and memories

I was so excited to find this book. I used the baby book this author created for both my children, and my daughter just turned 5 (the end of the book). It was hard for me to put away her baby book, but when I found out they have a school age book, I was so excited! They look great sitting next to each other on the shelf, and instead of feeling like I am closing the book on my child being a baby, I feel like I am just beginning the book of her childhood.These books are beautifully designed and help me keep up with important memories. I just love them.

I searched for a way to document my children’s school years for so long. I am definitely not a scrapbook person so I needed something with prompts and well organized. I love the prompts in this book. It has just the right amount of space to document all the important things, some fun memories and pictures without being overwhelming. It is also so pretty and timeless! I’ll be getting one for each of my children once they age out of the baby books we have (also by Korie and absolutely lovely!)

Very nice book. Thoughtful questions and memories. Downfall - only one pocket for memories and pages can easily come off the ring. You just need to be careful.

This is such a well thought out and put together book to record events and memories to look back on with your child when he/she have grown up. It has a sturdy cover that should last through the years.

This memory book is such a treasure! Just like her As We Grow and As You Grow books, Korie does an incredible job of making a book that is both functional and beautiful. The As You Grow book ends with memories up to 5 years old, and this book starts with Kindergarten. It's a nice transition and a perfect place to keep memories for your child's school years. The first day of school interview has great questions that will be so fun to see how they compare over the years. I know I will cherish this long after my kids are grown!

Growing Up is the sequel to Korie Herold's best-selling baby book As You Grow. It's so aptly named for the school years, and this new modern memory book will see your baby (they're always gonna be our babies, damnit) through all 13 years of school before leaving the nest.Cover? Sturdy and beautiful. Gray linen with the same sort of leafy/ribbony goodness and bold serifed font we got accustomed to with AYG. End pages are an incredibly detailed pattern design of what Korie is best known for - watercolored leaves. Classic. Lovely. All the things. You also can't miss the gold-leaf. It adds such a fancy touch!Inside the gold binding, you'll find large, thick pages, and every single one will make you want to cry your eyes out. You've been warned... Each section, Kindergarten through Senior Year, begins with gorgeous hand- lettering and a really beautiful crest denoting the grade number. Then come the prompts... Of course there are the expected ones like "What do you want to be when you grow up and why?" as well as your child's height, favorite color/food/toy/book/movie, teacher for the year, etc. But my favorites are ones like: (1) "What are three words you'd use to describe yourself?" (2) "What makes you feel most loved?" (3) What do you like to do to make others feel loved?" (4) "Are you scared or afraid of anything?" (5) What is your favorite thing you did this summer?" and on and on. Yes - this book helps you document school-related moments/memories, but it's just as good for keeping track of just exactly WHO your kid was at the specific time, outside of school. I love that...There are spots for picture day, for art/projects, and GET THIS - there's a part where you have your child scribe their signature. Every year. For 13 years. I can't wait to see my boys' signatures evolve! I just thought that was such a special thing to include <3A few more things to note... For every grade there's a place to record new friends made, things learned, extracurriculars, accomplishments/highlights, and of course memories in general. You can include a picture of your child's birthday that year and how you celebrated. Literally everything has been thought of. Not to mention a blank spread for each year (with so many hand-painted leafy design variations on the side) where you can write/attach any sort of words/pictures/drawings you'd like. It's so thorough. And so, so pretty. OH - and remember the part about crying? Well... At the very end of each year's section, you can write a note to your child... "As you grow... A note from: _____" Mine will say momma. Because if I have *ANYTHING* to do with it, my kids will call me momma until they're 30. Not mommy. And DEFINITELY not mom. But momma. That's me.At some point 12 years from now, I will adhere a picture of my now 6-year-old boy on the final page... The "Leaving the Nest" page. Except then? He'll be 18 and heading to paleontology school. I will sob my eyes out and remain so so thankful that I have this book to look back on.Crap. I'm crying.

I am so impressed with this book! My kids had so much fun being "interviewed" by me after their 1st day at school. I love the drawings in the book, and the thoughtful questions. Looking forward to this being a rhythm at the beginning of each school year!

I filled this out with my daughter the night before her first day of kindergarten and what a great memory it made! I can’t wait to do this on the first day of school for every year. I love that each grade level doesn’t have too many questions but it still does a great job of capturing my daughters personality and the things that are important to her right now. I love that there is a place for a photo and a little piece of artwork. There are also some blank pages that I will probably put more artwork in. I don’t do well with keeping up with scrapbooks or memory books usually but this one yes is simple and not at all daunting- I will definitely follow through with this one. Beautiful and classic. A definite heirloom!

The author knocked it out of the park with this book! I had been searching for a classy, detailed, and complete school memory book. "Growing Up" fits the bill perfectly! Thank you for providing a place to keep these special memories organized! It is sure to be a treasure for many years!

This book is so beautiful (just like all of Korie's memory books), I can't wait to fill it in for my nine year old and am excited to purchase one for my 4 year old when it comes time for Kindergarten!!

Another win with this book! It is modern, elegant and gorgeous! I have two books for my sons, ages 7 and 5. The idea behind this book is genius and I can not wait to dive in this one! There is so much thought and detail in every year you will fill out. I have three of her other books and they have been so fun to have alone time and write in. However, the best part of this book is you get to spend time with your littles and ask them questions. The book will be me writing memories but to have my sons answers written down is priceless! The years go by fast and to have this book to make memories will forever be remembered. I look forward to this being a yearly ritual as my boys grow.

LOVE this sequel to Korie’s baby book, As You Grow. I desired to have a book to keep a handful of school memories for all 5 of my children. I really enjoy the prompts and feel like they capture just enough of the year. With having only a handful of pages per year it also makes it manageable for a parent with lots of children to feel like they actually could accomplish it each year. It’s a beautiful book & I love that it coordinates with the baby book. Once again Korie gave it her all & it shows!

I pre-ordered this school years book for my 8 year old daughter after being so impressed with the baby book that I recently purchased for our baby due in Oct. We have been using a different school years book that was such poor quality and design, but there was nothing else out there when I bought it! Thankfully, there is enough content on our other school years book (favorite foods, color, etc.) that I can mostly backtrack and fill in the Kinder and 1st section in this book. The only big struggle to back track on is the pointed questions like "Describe yourself in three words", unfortunately those will have to be left blank. Thankfully, I have extra school photos from previous years and plenty of art samples to add. I'm even going to print some pictures to put in as well. The birthday section is going to be very easy to fill out in retrospect (no pointed questions for the child). For the the section that asked for the years highlights, I just went back through my photos and was quickly reminded of all the field trips, etc. We are just now completing the 2nd grade section a bit late and will be all on track for 3rd grade. I love that this goes through high school. I am so excited about this beautiful book, it is going to be very special for her to have when she is older. Despite being late to the game, it is all going to come together beautifully and is so worth the extra effort! The quality and design is incredible. I adore this book!
