These are really cute! It is a great way for a child to learn English OR Spanish. The way it is written and flows it could be used either way. The illustrations are very nice. My 4 year old daughter had me read all 3 twice in a row. At the end of each story they break down the pronunciations which was super helpful as well! No complaints and a good purchase.

Great set of 3 books for my entry-level Spanish learning kids who are 5 & 7.The book of opposites is their favorite with a cute storyline. Everyone loves twins and piñatas!They also love to repeat the instrument names in Spanish. la guitarra 🎸 el microfono 🎤

I loved the Street Vendors books so I immediately bought this set too, sadly they are different. Whereas Street Vendors had a rhyming scheme these books don't which I was disappointed in. Also the piñata book is not translated correctly. The spanish sentences are mixed up with English. Where it should say something like "yo quiero la piñata grande" it reads "I want the piñata grande", I honestly don't know how it was overlooked. Overall my kid does like it,I just had higher expectations.

This is a MUST HAVE set for any bilingual homes or classrooms. I love how each book presents vocabulary in an authentic way while embracing culture and traditions from Latinamerican countries. It is not your typical vocabulary board book, it has a short story with a sequence and vibrant and beautiful illustrations.

We absolutely LOVE the Si Sabo Kids collection. My son is obsessed with Street Vendors and I fear that without this exposure through books, he wouldn’t be exposed or know of the thrill of chasing down a paletero or buying flores fr your local flower cart.With this new collection of La Plaza we were just as excited to flip through the pages!What I love most is how the author’s honor Spanish and English in their text, but the exposure is to Spanish print first! This is very unique and purposeful for our younger generations.You will not be disappointed. My little guy has me read these daily!

As a dual language educator and mother of a bilingual child, I absolutely love these books! The set is bright, colorful and culturally rich; the three books are inspired by Latin American marketplace scenes, which makes learning feel playful and meaningful! Such a wonderful addition to any household or classroom bookshelf!

We are obsessed with the Si Sabo Kids books! We got the first set of Street Vendors and now this is such a great addition. Our daughter loves these and reads them over and over. My husband is a spanish speaker but I am not, so this has been a great way to pass down spanish to our daughter regardless of whether you speak spanish or not. Plus, the case the books come in are so cute and stylish sitting on our bookshelf. Really makes a great present because it's a great set!

These little books are honestly way cuter than I expected. My kid grabbed them right away and the tiny size makes it easy for her to flip through on her own. The colors and pics are simple but really fun, and the English/Spanish words are actually helpful. They feel pretty sturdy but I can see a super teething baby maybe doing some damage lol. Overall just a really sweet little set, great for quick learning moments or tossing in the diaper bag.
