About the Author

Mike Alfaro is a writer, creative director, and proud dad based in Los Angeles. Originally from Guatemala, he moved to California at 18 in pursuit of the American dream. Mike is the creator of the viral, bestselling game Millennial Lotería, a modern twist on the beloved Mexican bingo. With Sí Sabo Kids, he’s on a mission to help parents introduce Spanish and Hispanic culture to kids.

Gerardo Guillén is a Mexican-American illustrator and creative director from El Paso, Texas. His award-winning work has brought campaigns to life for major brands including McDonald’s, Fiji, Honda, and more. Now based in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons, Gerardo brings Sí Sabo Kids to life with playful, engaging artwork that reflects his passion for storytelling and cultural pride.
