I bought these cards before visiting my grandparents out of state. They sparked amazing conversations with them and I learned so much about them. As fate would have it the day I left my grandpa passed. I’m so happy to have purchased this because I was able to learn more about him before his passing.

This deck is better than any card game available. Previously, we played Go Fish or Gin Rummy with my elderly father. When I received a complimentary set of these cards from the publisher, I began randomly pulling a card from the deck, then would ask its question. Soon, the entire family joined into what has since become a game of thought and treasured memories. My children, nieces, and nephews have had a wonderful time getting to know the grandpa/uncle they only thought they knew! We've laughed, cried, and learned not only about my father but about his friends. Instead of those silly card games, we've begun a tradition that is enjoyed and anticipated by everyone in the family. This is truly a multi-generational must-have.

I love every single one of Korie Herold’s products. When I saw she came out with these conversation cards I just had to get them! They of course did not disappoint! It is such a fun and unique way to connect with grandparents inspiring genuine conversation and connection.The questions are really a fun way to dig deep and get to know your grandparents on a different level. We often get so busy that we forget how important it is to just sit and converse about memories. These really make it fun and easy.I am so glad Korie thought to create these meaningful cards! They are ever as intention and special as every one of her books is!P.S. these will make the best stocking stuffers for the holiday season!!
I'm a sucker for real, honest, vulnerable conversation. So when I learned about Korie Herold's newest conversation deck product, I knew it was going to be good.The timing couldn't have been more appropriate... My husband's grandfather passed a few weeks ago, and we've been super fortunate to have hours and hours of Grandpa Morrissey's legendary stories recorded by a cousin many years ago to pour over. What a comfort those recordings have been and will continue to be.Obviously, we didn't have this deck in time to ask such questions. But his passing has made us all the more aware of how precious his answers would have been. *And* how important having answers is for those left behind.Since these cards have the same prompts as Korie's Grandma's Story and Grandpa's Story journals, you can make filling those out more of an experience. The deck encourages you to sit *with* your people, to truly know them as they answer their way through all sorts of questions - some easy, some hard, some silly, some deep - and to then write down their responses. It's a brilliant way to connect with those people you love so much.I want to note... These questions are appropriate for non-grandparents as well. My mom and dad are coming to TX for Thanksgiving this year, and I'm fully planning on lighting a fire, pouring us some hot cider, and seeing how they might answer these questions.
