The Tagalongs

We love this new book by Megan Marie Myers my three-year-old ( who's name is Fox) really loves to find the lurking Fox on every page. The characters are compelling (hello porcupine with a fanny pack) and the story teaches flexibility and curiosity and friendship. This book is exactly what the world needs right now, especially for our tiny little Future Leaders.

Another amazing book from Megan Meyers to add to our collection! Not only is it beautiful to look at, it’s also a thoughtful, engaging tale that I love reading with my little one.I especially appreciated how the story weaves in themes of curiosity, teamwork, and courage. And of course, the bat eating pizza will always hold a special place in my heart!This is a book I hope every family adds to their home library, it’s perfect for cozy connection time with your littles.

My son is nearly two, so he isn’t quite at the age where he fully grasps all the context of a story, but he absolutely LOVES this book. He was instantly taken with the beautiful landscapes and the charming characters, especially the fox, who he was excited to find on each page.As his mom, I appreciate that it is more than just a fun read right now - it’s a story that will grow with him. The lessons of kindness, inclusion, and finding beauty in our differences are woven in so naturally, and I know these themes will resonate with him more and more as he gets older.It’s rare to find a children’s book that engages little ones visually while also offering meaningful values they can grow into. This one does both, and I’m grateful to have it in our growing collection.Highly recommend!

We are big Megan Myers fans at our house and her new Tagalongs book just adds to our love of her work! The artwork is superb, the story is engaging and clever, and the characters are unique yet relatable. We are so excited for this story to be out in the world for everyone to enjoy! We will be reading it again and again!

I loved this book so much! It was so wholesome and inspiring! I am 11 years old and can read fluently but I still read this book over and over! Great for all ages! 🤩📚

Great children’s book! Illustrated so beautifully

The Tagalongs is a beautifully illustrated reminder that we’re stronger together than we are alone. My kids loved the story and got a big kick out of the fox’s journey.The illustrations are so charming and I love the message of the story. We love our copy and will be buying more as gifts!

Lovely story about how a loner reluctantly finds friendship amongst a band of misfits. The nature illustrations are beautiful and the animal characters are lovable, quirky and hilarious. My kiddos love to read this book and find the sneaky fox on each page.

What a delightful hiking adventure! I enjoyed the characters, the fun location names, the tagalongs that need saving, and the clever way they all work together to get back home in time for dinner. Wonderful illustrations add to the story. Great read!

A wonderful adventure with a positive message for children. Megan is a well-loved local artist in Oregon, and this book is the perfect way for everyone to enjoy her work.This children’s story describes Julia, a girl who prefers to adventure alone, and her discovery that everyone can contribute to a hiking adventure. Every animal that tags along with her trek contributes to the group’s success in their own unique way. The story’s use of alliteration, a few plays on words, and fun sounds makes it great for reading out loud or learning to read. And the art is, as expected, a joy to behold.

Both my kiddos love this book! Our 8yr old loves to read this to our 1yr old. The story matched with the beautiful illustrations puts it together perfectly. Will be buying more to gift for the holidays.

We received this book in the mail- and straightaway our toddler was asking for this one on REPEAT! And the quirky characters come up in his imaginative conversations with us often- we love hypothesizing about that Fox!So much fun to have Megan- an incredible illustrator, ALSO writing the creative storyline for this one. This would make a great gift for any young kiddo!

Our family loves this book! Such a fun story with lots of adventure and fast friendships. The illustrations are so cute – my kiddo's favorite is hungry fox. This book is quickly becoming a regular read in our book rotation!
